Benefit concert for the Guildford Community Church At the memorial service for the great African environmental warrior Wangari Matthai, two years ago in the Cathedral, Paul Winter played with a wonderful choir from a small church in Vermont that had become Wangari’s “home church” in the US. This vital progressive multicultural church located just outside Brattleboro is dedicated to preserving the Earth and its creatures and is well known for its connection to the Greenbelt Movement in Kenya.
