New Pond Farm is celebrating its 30th year as an environmental education center with a small working farm. Its mission is to connect people with the land that enriches and sustains us all. The beautiful 102-acre property, in West Redding, CT,  was once the home of its founder, actress Carmen Mathews. In the early 1970s, Paul Winter lived in the cottage on the farm. Paul Winter’s joyous, rhythmic, contemporary EARTH MASS, performed by the Paul Winter Consort, features the voices of wolf, whale and loon, a massed choir of hundreds of voices,  gospel singer Theresa Thomason, and a dance performance by Forces of Nature, all in celebration of the beauty of the animal kingdom.
